Job Description:
The Director of Business Development is responsible for managing local and large regional General Contractor accounts while looking for new account opportunities. They will develop and implement account sales and marketing strategies to increase sales to meet corporate goals. The Director of Business Development will be responsible for selling solutions to owners directly or through sales channels, such as contractors. They will develop and maintain relationships with Contractors, Architects, Engineers, Manufacturers, and Owners in the Electrical industry. To maintain accurate tracking of leads and deals they will consistently utilize the CRM.
Responsibilities:
- Establish new accounts and manage established accounts within the assigned territory to achieve or exceed established sales targets
- Analyze market trends and needs within the territory and proactively seek the right relationships with the most influential channel partners (Contractors, Engineers, Owners, Manufacturers
- Maintain knowledge of current and new solution offerings to educate customers for design implementation and bid scope.
- Provide pricing strategy and negotiate deals to maximize profitability.
- Base = $100,000
- Commission = $75k on target earnings (OTE)
- Growing existing customers and new customers
- Paid Quarterly
- OTE = $175K; uncapped commissions
