This visionary leader will offer strategic direction in security, compliance, and identity management. Your role as the VP of Security Architecture will be pivotal in shaping the security framework for applications and services, ensuring they adhere to the highest standards of secure coding and compliance.

As the VP, you'll establish and manage a team of exceptional engineers, defining their tasks and supervising their endeavors to research and implement security protocols.

This security architecture team is vital in equipping Fusion Applications with the requisite platform, libraries, and services to build secure applications.

Security is a dynamic field, and this team will assist Fusion Applications teams in staying secure and establishing the infrastructure necessary for rapid responses to emerging security challenges.

Anticipate upcoming compliance mandates and introduce them early within Fusion Applications, providing ample preparation time.

Ultimately, you and your team will be the go-to contacts for all matters relating to security and compliance development.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and lead the new Security Architecture team.
  • Define the security architecture for all Fusion Application services.
  • Develop and maintain security patterns for Fusion Applications development teams.
  • Establish security infrastructure, including services, libraries, frameworks, security auditing tools, and testing tools.
  • Centralize security requirements for quick adaptation to new security and compliance needs.
  • Implement new security and compliance initiatives across Fusion Applications and ensure widespread adoption.
  • Cultivate a culture of security consciousness and best practices among development teams.

Success Criteria:

  • Provide clear security guidelines and compliance standards to development teams.
  • Allow development teams sufficient time to meet compliance deadlines.
  • Communicate and implement security patterns effectively across Fusion Applications teams.
  • Implement proactive security measures to mitigate evolving security threats.

Oracle offers a competitive hiring range for this role, between $180,000 to $457,800 per year, along with eligibility for bonuses, equity, and compensation deferral.
