The purchasing coordinator will be responsible for helping managing inventory levels, forecasting inventory, and processing and expediting purchase orders for a variety of materials to support the clinical laboratory operations.

The schedule for this position is: Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:30pm.

Responsibilities:

  • Process and expedite purchase orders
  • Research and resolve problems associated with purchase order processing
  • Manage inventory levels. Review and maintain min/max and safety stock inventory levels to support changes in production plans and material usage
  • Forecast inventory of supplies
  • Interface with other department management to identify, communicate and resolve planning related problems

Requirements:

  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Previous experience with Oracle and Peoplesoft highly preferred
  • Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
