We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Florida Oncology and Hematology in Naples, FL. This role will involve maintaining the ordering and stocking of medications and supplies, preparing and mixing medications under the supervision of a licensed healthcare professional, and coordinating with pharmaceutical companies to obtain samples and teaching aids.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate records of medication inventory and ordering.
  • Prepare and mix medications as needed, following applicable state regulations.
  • Coordinate with pharmaceutical companies to obtain samples and teaching aids.
  • Act as liaison between physicians, nursing staff, and purchasing department to obtain special orders.
  • Minimum of three years' experience in the healthcare field, preferably in a clinical setting as a Pharmacy Technician.

Requirements:

  • PTCB Certification or Registered as Pharmacy Technician is required.
  • Medical terminology and attention to detail is desirable.
  • Fluency in the English language and strong communication skills are essential.
  • Valid State Drivers License for travel to clinics is required.
