We are hiring a Full-Time Support Person/Caregiver

A wonderful opportunity awaits for a compassionate individual to join our team as a support person/caregiver for a 22-year-old young woman with Cerebral Palsy. This young lady is vibrant, loves music, and enjoys community outings. She may need help with communication, but she is incredibly sociable and expressive. We are seeking a caring individual to assist her in various activities throughout the week, such as cooking classes, social events, volunteering, attending therapies, and engaging in activities that foster independence.

If you are someone who appreciates the value of companionship, is active, kind, and patient, this role is perfect for you. Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred, but if you have a strong desire to learn and make a difference, we are willing to provide training on equipment and technology.

Job Details:
  • Pay: $30 per hour
  • Start Date: Full-time position available in mid-August, part-time options available immediately
  • Hours: Monday to Wednesday 8:30 am - 6:00 pm, Thursday 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm, Friday 1:30 pm - 6:00 pm. Guaranteed 35 hours per week with some flexibility.
  • Additional: Weekend and evening hours are available
  • Benefits: 2 weeks paid vacation, 5 sick days, holidays, health insurance stipend
  • Transportation: Work vehicle provided, but personal vehicle required for commuting

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
  • Safe driving record
  • Relevant experience
  • Minimum of 3-5 professional references
  • Legal right to work in the U.S.
