Key Responsibilities:

Patient Management and Administrative Support

  • Welcome and register patients upon arrival
  • Perform front office administrative duties, including managing communications
  • Facilitate patient flow and assist in navigating to examination areas
  • Document medical information in patient records, including scanning and uploading necessary documents
  • Process medical record requests efficiently
  • Coordinate appointment scheduling and other administrative functions
  • Maintain cleanliness in patient areas and workspaces
  • Participate in team meetings and discussions
  • Manage waste disposal, including biohazardous materials, as required

Clinical Assistance

  • Conduct essential triage tasks, including measuring vital signs and capturing images
  • Collect specimens and perform tests as needed
  • Prepare examination rooms in accordance with scheduled procedures
  • Assist in the removal of sutures and staples
  • Ensure proper cleaning and sterilization of medical instruments
  • Oversee inventory of medical supplies and restock as necessary
  • Support post-operative patient care
  • Assist healthcare providers with patient care tasks when requested
  • Uphold compliance with OSHA and HIPAA regulations within the practice

Qualifications:

  • Essential:
    1. Current CPR certification
    2. Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA standards
    3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction and teamwork
    4. Ability to foster a professional environment for both patients and staff
    5. Capability to work independently and efficiently with minimal oversight
    6. Proactive problem-solving skills and adaptability to various situations
