Vaco has partnered with an Ecommerce company that is seeking an Interim Accounting & Finance Director to ensure accounting & finance operations are GAAP-compliant. The consultant will work closely with the CEO to develop KPI's, budgeting and financial statement reporting. This is an interim role with opportunity for direct-hire at end of the contract period based on mutual interests. The work can be completed remotely but the consultant must reside in the Greater Phoenix area.

Position Title: Interim Accounting & Finance Director
Position Type: Interim/Contract to Hire
Target Start Date: ASAP
Location: Remote but must be local to Greater Phoenix area

Requirements for the position include:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related area of focus
  • CPA license and/or public accounting experience highly preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of GAAP accounting
  • Ecommerce experience preferred
  • Prior experience in a Controller, Director or CFO position
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to commit to duration of project
