Vaco has partnered with an Ecommerce company that is seeking an Interim Accounting & Finance Director to ensure accounting & finance operations are GAAP-compliant. The consultant will work closely with the CEO to develop KPI’s, budgeting and financial statement reporting. This is an interim role with opportunity for direct-hire at end of the contract period based on mutual interests. The work can be completed remotely but the consultant must reside in the Greater Phoenix area.

Position Title: Interim Accounting & Finance Director
Position Type: Interim/Contract to Hire
Target Start Date: ASAP
Location: Remote but must be local to Greater Phoenix area

Requirements for the position include:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related area of focus
  • CPA license and/or public accounting experience highly preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of GAAP accounting
  • Ecommerce experience preferred
  • Prior experience in a Controller, Director or CFO position
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to commit to duration of project

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:

  • the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;
  • licensure and certification requirements;
  • office location and other geographic considerations;
  • other business and organizational needs.

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
