Our client is looking for a talented individual to step in and ensure precise and timely management of fixed asset accounting.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Manage Asset Schedules: Maintain and update fixed asset schedules, including overseeing Construction in Process (CIP) accounts.
  • Transition Assets: Efficiently transfer CIP to depreciable fixed asset schedules once projects are completed.
  • Handle Transactions: Accurately record additions, sales, dispositions, and depreciation expenses.
  • Journal Entries: Prepare and post journal entries related to all fixed asset activities.
  • Ad-Hoc Tasks: Complete various ad-hoc tasks related to fixed asset accounting as needed.

Experience We’re Looking For:

  • Proven Expertise: Solid background in fixed asset accounting with hands-on experience in CIP, depreciation, and asset management.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to stay organized and thrive in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills that facilitate effective teamwork and reporting.
  • Technical Proficiency: Intermediate skills in Excel and Microsoft Office products.
  • ERP Systems Knowledge: Experience with D365 or Sage Intacct fixed asset modules is highly desirable.
  • Software Migration: Experience with migrating to new fixed asset software and data testing is a plus.
