Position Overview: As the VP of Marketing you'll be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with our business goals. You will lead a small, dynamic marketing team and work closely with sales, product, and customer success teams to ensure cohesive messaging, brand positioning, and market expansion. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, creative innovation, and hands-on execution.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a data-driven marketing strategy that supports the company's growth objectives and market expansion efforts.
  • Brand Management: Enhance and manage the Closinglock brand, ensuring consistency across all channels and touchpoints.
  • Demand Generation: Oversee lead generation programs, including digital marketing, content marketing, SEO/SEM, email campaigns, and events, to drive customer acquisition and retention.
  • Product Marketing: Collaborate with product teams to create compelling product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies that resonate with target audiences.
  • Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement.
  • Market Research: Conduct market analysis and customer insights to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats, ensuring Closinglock remains at the forefront of industry innovation.
  • Partnerships and Alliances: Develop strategic partnerships and alliances to amplify our reach and drive growth.
  • Budget Management: Manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
  • Performance Analytics: Establish KPIs and track the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, using data to optimize campaigns and drive informed decision-making.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a VP of Marketing or similar senior marketing leadership role, preferably in a B2B SaaS or technology-driven environment.
  • Strong track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive growth and market share.
  • Expertise in digital marketing, content marketing, branding, and demand generation.
  • Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with a passion for mentoring and developing talent.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data to make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Experience in the real estate or fintech sectors is a plus.


This is a full-time, in-person position in our Austin, TX office.
