    About Our Client

    A prominent financial services firm in Manhattan is seeking a skilled Payroll Analyst to join its exceptional team.

    Job Description

  • Manage and execute end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring timely and accurate payment of salaries and wages.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations, including tax reporting and filings.Prepare and maintain accurate payroll-related financial records and reports.Utilize payroll software to process payroll and troubleshoot any system issues or discrepancies.Analyze payroll data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvements.Work closely with HR and finance departments to ensure seamless integration of payroll functions.Address payroll-related inquiries from employees, providing clear and accurate information.Conduct regular audits of payroll procedures and records to ensure accuracy and compliance.Identify and implement improvements to payroll processes and systems for increased efficiency.Maintain strict confidentiality of employee payroll and personal information.

The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.Minimum of 3-5 years of payroll experience, preferably in a financial services environment.Proficiency with payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.Strong understanding of payroll laws and regulations.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.High attention to detail and accuracy.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
