Creative Financial Staffing is collaborating with a distinguished nonprofit entity in the heart of the city. They are in search of a Nonprofit Financial Analyst with a background in managing budgets and governmental agreements to enhance their finance team.
Key Responsibilities of the Nonprofit Financial Analyst Include:
- Compile all budget-related documentation and supplementary materials necessary for submission to funding bodies, including ongoing funding requests, contract extensions, and budget adjustments.
- Examine payroll records and create a monthly payroll distribution report.
- Document and monitor income for each funding stream, including overseeing and modifying accruals, recording checks and electronic transactions, documenting contract payments, and maintaining payment timelines.
- Generate essential financial statements pertaining to a portfolio of public and private grants and contracts.
- Preferred qualifications for the Analyst:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the nonprofit sector
- Proficient in Excel
- Familiarity with nonprofit and governmental grants and contracts
