What will I be doing?

Accepts all purchased non-food and beverage into the hotel, verifying accuracy of delivery to purchase orders. Maintains correct receiving status for all General PO’s in Birch Street. Generates a daily receiving report. Maintains storage areas in accordance to standards and rotates stock accordingly. Issues and delivers products to departments in accordance with the requisition policies and procedures. Conducts Inventories.

In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of the company.

  • Participate in hotel/department meetings.
  • Perform any general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products to adhere to health standards.
  • Perform other duties as requested by manager or special guest requests. Requirements

    What are we looking for?

  • 6 months shipping/receiving experience required
Birchstreet purchasing experience preferred Basic mathematical skills, Microsoft Office, and computer skills to track and receive volumes of deliveries required Ability to communicate orally and through email in English with staff and outside entities. Certain positions will require the ability to read and write in English as well Must be organized and detail oriented
