Position Overview

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This role is a temporary contract position. As a key leader reporting to the Director of Finance & Business Support, you will excel in nurturing strong relationships with clients and collaborating with your team. Your expertise will shine in a fast-paced environment that integrates systems, personnel, and financial management. You will find this role rewarding as you contribute to the success of an award-winning establishment.

As the Accounts Receivable Manager, you will support the Director of Front Office by leading the Accounts Receivable team. Your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Delivering consistently professional, friendly, and engaging service
  • Overseeing AR Supervisor and Coordinator roles
  • Facilitating monthly credit meetings
  • Communicating billing arrangements and fostering client relationships
  • Ensuring compliance with group deposit policies as per agreements
  • Efficiently managing AR aging and collections
  • Coordinating with front office for accurate guest ledgers
  • Setting and monitoring expectations for AR team members
  • Coordinating billing reviews and interactions with finance staff
  • Ensuring proper processing of chargebacks and inquiries
  • Monitoring monthly house accounts and managing office supplies
  • Providing necessary administrative support
  • Adhering to departmental and safety policies
  • Performing additional assigned duties as required

Physical requirements for the role include sitting, occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, and navigating ladders, stairs, and ramps.

Qualifications

YOUR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS INCLUDE:

  • Demonstrated leadership experience is essential
  • Previous experience with Property Management Systems is preferred
  • Background in office administration or accounting is advantageous
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows applications is beneficial
  • A degree in a relevant field is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Dependable with a strong sense of responsibility
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment
  • Team-oriented with a focus on client needs
  • Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure
