Parts Sales Analyst

Your Tasks:

  • Analyzes customer inactivity data to identify opportunities for after sales services and/or products.
  • Tracks machine overhaul activity and pro-actively calls customers who have not scheduled annual overhauls to increase Spare Parts sales.
  • Understand KHS machine portfolio (Filler, packer, pasteurizer etc.) Look up bill of materials and parts via manuals.
  • Analyzes white spot analysis to see where potential sales exist based on installed machinery.
  • Pro-active pushes known service products to customers (especially Obsolescence).
  • Proactively contacts customers in North America and the Caribbean
  • Maintains customer’s information in SAP Enterprise Resource Planning system.
  • Gather data from ERP system (SAP)
  • Provides follow up from “Technician Recommendations” area of service report.
  • Verifies part price and availability in Enterprise Resource Planning system (SAP)
  • Quotes prices to customers for parts with established part numbers in the system; determines if it a manufactured or a commercial part; interacts with Production Control or Purchasing to determine schedule and pricing of part and follows-up in a timely manner; may need to interact with Engineering to determine correct part number.
  • Enters and confirms parts orders for the customer; verifies credit terms of order and credit status of customer; interacts with Accounting on orders with payment terms other than net thirty days.
  • Monitor delivery times of parts- to customer sites and KHS and convey information to customer/appropriate parties.

Your Qualifications:

  • An associate degree Business Management or related field.
  • Two to five years of call center experience involving manufacturing or parts experience; or equivalent combination or education and experience.
  • Proactively interact with customers to identify potential needs and achieve high quality service standards.
  • Excellent communication skills, an outgoing personality, quick, accurate data research and entry
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage difficult or emotional customer situations
