Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Support Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will provide technical information and support for KHS USA parts sales orders, working closely with our Engineering function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical assistance to customers seeking aftermarket parts and rebuilds
  • Conduct research on part numbers for sales orders
  • Identify components of parts for special kits and group them into sub-assemblies
  • Verify part pricing with the Customer Support Supervisor or Manager
  • Identify needed machine manual updates and communicate with the documentation team
  • Occasionally enter new part numbers into the Finesse system
  • Help identify whether customer requests are under warranty
  • May assist in identifying Engineering Change Requests and communicate with the Engineering or other teams
  • May perform parts lookups and pull drawings to support purchasing
  • Participate in a 24/7 on-call non-business hours customer call line, with a regular rotating schedule with other department members

Requirements

  • An associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
  • Five years of experience in customer service or parts sales for mechanical equipment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
