  • This Sourcing Analyst is responsible for improving cost position through the identification of inefficiencies.
  • The Sourcing Cost Analyst is responsible for preparing cost analysis by evaluating material cost, labor cost, and overhead cost incurred in the fabrication or assembly of parts, and when predetermined standards are not available, make an estimate based on benchmarking costs & cost tables.
  • Control and manage costing through contract development and analytical support
  • Act as a resource for cost accounting and commodity management to identify reasons behind accounting-based variances
  • Work with supplier management team to support supplier lead development and continuous improvement opportunities that result in lower cost / improved performance.
  • Experience in a cost estimation/cost engineering/cost accounting/industrial engineering/manufacturing role
  • Supplier development experience
  • Professional certifications (i.e. ASQ-CQE/CQA, CPIM, CSCP, PMP)
