About the role

We are actively seeking a driven and motivated Salesforce Administrator and Integration Specialist to join our esteemed Salesforce Platform Team. Reporting directly to the Director of Salesforce Platform, the successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and developing technical integrations within the Salesforce ecosystem at Auctane. This role requires strong experience in Salesforce integration and implementation.

About the Team

The Salesforce Platform Team is instrumental in developing and maintaining solutions in the Salesforce ecosystem. Composed of admins and developers, the team works closely as a well oil machine to provide these solutions. The team sits within the IT department and works closely with owners of other Enterprise Applications and Corporate IT.

What will you be doing?

  • Design, implement, and maintain technical integrations within the Salesforce ecosystem, leveraging previous experience with Salesforce.com integration and implementation to ensure seamless data flow and consistency across systems, carefully considering the governor's limitations due to the multitenant architecture.
  • Utilize expertise in Salesforce configuration options, data model architecture, and security model to design robust and scalable solutions.
  • Strategic Architectural Enhancements: Identify and implement enhancements in architecture, update best practice policies, and procedures to optimize system performance.
  • Offer proactive maintenance and troubleshooting for Salesforce configurations and customizations as well as integrations, addressing issues promptly to maintain seamless business operations.
  • Work closely with Salesforce administrators to ensure alignment between integration strategies and overall Salesforce configuration and maintenance.
  • Demonstrate platform development best practices and design patterns to implement highly scalable solutions while understanding governor limitations in a multitenant environment.
  • Identify opportunities for architectural enhancements and provide recommendations for improving best practice policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to implement new or enhanced features that improve business processes and enhance user experience.
  • Advise business stakeholders on business process improvement and reengineering opportunities to optimize Salesforce integrations.
  • Provide documentation and participate in knowledge sharing sessions to foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
  • Work independently while also effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and drive architectural improvements.

What are we looking for?

  • Salesforce Certifications:
  • Development experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, and/or JavaScript 
  • Expertise with integration and implementation of Salesforce and Google Cloud.
  • Expertise with SOQL, SOSL, GoogleSQL, SQL, and JSON
  • Demonstrate excellent planning, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to navigate complex integration challenges.

  • Ability to work independently while driving projects to completion and collaborating effectively with others.
  • Experience identifying architectural improvements and recommending best practice policies and procedures.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of platform development best practices and design patterns.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

  • Agile project delivery experience.
