Job Description

Abacus Service Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 years of experience in Salesforce administration and implementation, with a strong background in enterprise-level Salesforce projects using Agile (Scrum) software development methodologies.

The successful candidate will be responsible for best practices in Salesforce configuration, support, and troubleshooting duties for the Grants Management System application. This includes creating, modifying, and deactivating user accounts, assigning user profiles, permission sets, and related activities in Salesforce.

The Salesforce Administrator will also be responsible for the deployment of Salesforce solutions, as needed, and will make recommendations for improving processes and best practices based on analysis. Additionally, the candidate will create and maintain documentation on processes, policies, application configuration, and maintenance of help-related materials for users.

The position will lead, organize, and maintain the security and efficiency of the Salesforce org, working in collaboration with other team members and management. The Salesforce Administrator will oversee the production support of the Salesforce org and its environments.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6 years of Salesforce administration or implementation experience
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in enterprise-level Salesforce projects using Agile (Scrum) software development methodologies
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) process, coding standards, change control, and version management
  • Preferred knowledge of application development, data, security, and prioritization in the Salesforce platform
  • Preferred experience in Database/Analytics Systems development and deployment experience, as well as front-end visualization
  • Preferred Salesforce Administrator certification

Terms of Service:

Services are expected to start on or around September 1, 2024, and are expected to complete by August 31, 2025. Total estimated hours per Candidate shall not exceed 1,984 hours. This service may be amended, renewed, and/or extended providing both parties agree to do so in writing.

Work Hours and Location:

Services shall be provided during normal business hours unless otherwise coordinated through the Agency. Normal business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m., excluding Texas state holidays when the agency is closed. The primary work location will be 701 W 51st St, Austin, Texas. The working position is Telework. Any and all travel, per diem, parking, and/or living expenses shall be at the worker's and/or Vendor's expense.

Other Special Requirements:

Interviews will be conducted by phone, in person, or through Microsoft Teams. Vendor's submission of a candidate may be disqualified if the vendor fails to add the candidate to competitive solicitation, or RFR, in the DIR ITSAC Portal, or if another vendor submits the same candidate for the same competitive solicitation, also known as a request of resume (RFR).
