What you'll do

  • Leads a blended team of both exempt and non-exempt employees; selection and hiring, providing work guidance, motivating, coaching, constructive feedback and informal and formal performance reviews
  • Monitor metrics and milestones to chart progress against expectations and accountabilities.
  • Coach the team to approach challenges using a broader and/or global perspective.
  • Foster an environment that encourages and enables others to build skills and develop their careers
  • Develops and continually strengthens working relationships with other internal departments, customers, and third-party vendors
  • Serves as a change-agent in helping to implement process and/or organizational change efforts across the department
  • Optimize and integrate large-scale systems to continually improve quality and service
  • Create strategies that synthesize information, experience, and various inputs to determine the best course of action for teams and units.
  • Demonstrated ability to use a wide variety of problem-solving tools including A3, 5 Why’s, FMEA, VSM, Kaizen and others to conduct root cause analysis and/or design process improvements

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. 
  • At least three years of leadership experience in some capacity
  • Ability to develop and successfully engage with employees
  • Experience working with both internal and external customers preferred
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills 
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and to work well with others
  • Exceptional relationship building skills, both internal and external 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Quality driven with a strong attention to detail 
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet all assigned deadlines
  • Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office (Especially Excel and Sharepoint)
  • General SQL knowledge
