Position Summary:

In the Strategic Account Manager position, you'll establish new relationships and expand Direct Supply Brands into new markets, primarily focusing on Home Health. In this senior sales role, you will collaborate with Marketing, DSMI, Operations, and Finance to develop competitive programs aimed at acquiring new business and increasing Direct Supply's market share.

What You'll Do and Impact:

  • Drive sales and margin for assigned mid-tier Home Health accounts by developing owner and executive level customer relationships with new and existing customers
  • Deliver sales presentations (in person and virtually) to key customers to build new business and uncover large capital opportunities. Host customers on Direct Supply campus, travel to customer locations, and attend conferences and trade shows.
  • Manage channel conflict and existing relationships and understand implications of new partnerships we build.
  • Work across internal teams in Marketing, Sales, Operations and Financial Services to ensure alignment on customer opportunities across selling team and business units.
  • Leverage data and deep knowledge of inner workings of customer accounts to identify new opportunities to grow.
  • Design and implement new processes to scale business development efforts in new markets
  • Responsible for their entire book of business, including Supply, Capital and program level selling

Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Business Development
  • Ability to travel by car and/or plane up to 30%
  • Valid, unexpired driver's license with satisfactory driving record
