About the Accounts Payable Specialist position:

Essential Functions for the Accounts Payable Specialist:
  • Data entry of AP invoices
  • 3-way matching
  • Process weekly check runs by coding, obtaining approval, and administering payment
  • Reconciliations
  • Expense reimbursement
  • Process improvement
  • Act as backup for Accounts Receivable when necessary

Preferred Skills for the Accounts Payable Specialist:
  • The Accounts Payable Specialist should have excellent communication and prioritization skills
  • Strong ability to multitask
  • Technologically savvy with ability to learn quickly
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Strong communication and ability to work in a team as well as independently

  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
