Community Benefit Engagement Program Manager

The Community Benefit Engagement Program Manager will support development and implementation of Sibley’s community health priorities, including community benefit responsibilities, community education and outreach programs, grant opportunities, and strategic partnerships. Will work closely with the Director of Community Affairs as a liaison to local audiences and representative of Sibley, and in coordination of community health activities that enhance the visibility of Sibley and Johns Hopkins.
Work Location: Hybrid/Washington D.C.
Full time Days 9am-5pm (80% remote)
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
1. Bachelor’s degree required. Advanced degree in policy, public health or related field preferred.
2. Public policy background, experience or training.
3. 2-3 years of progressive responsibility and experience directly related to the responsibilities and duties of the job.
4. Strong project management experience.
5. Knowledge of community affairs, including grassroots program implementation and community organization representation.
6. Knowledge of public and health policy issues affecting health centers, non-profit organizations, urban institutions, and hospitals.
7. Grant writing experience a plus.
Salary Range: Minimum $38.78 per hour - Maximum $51.39 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
