Senior Sales Executive

Sales
The contributions of our sales professionals have significant influence over our business, as they spearhead the development and execution of projections, forecasts, and strategic long-term plans crucial to propelling our success both presently and in the years ahead. Joining our sales team means collaborating with skilled individuals across various functions within our organization. Specific Responsibilities Would Include
The Senior Sales Executive drives strategies set by the management to maximize sales and margins, support and promote the brand(s) where appropriate and maintain optimal relationships with customers.
Roles & Responsibilities
Strategy & Innovation
Strategically cultivate new accounts and seek opportunities to expand business with existing accounts; strategize means to penetrate new markets; oversee development and maintain business relationships with retailers.
Interpret relevant trends and communicate with the internal management team.
Oversee development of line plan for brands in context of larger assortment and cost structure.
Review and approve seasonal business proposals for each retailer, with suggested assortments based on marketplace and customer base.
Collaboratively devise and articulate brand positioning and key strategic initiatives for the brand; strategize optimal placement in store.
Review industry-specific pricing structures to ensure that our price remains competitive. Come up with pricing modifications as needed and present them for review during management meetings.
Operations & Results
Lead regular review of shipments and orders, sales and stock levels, merchandising and markdowns with Account Executives.
Guide strategies and approve recommendations to maximize sales and minimize markdowns.
Travel frequently to customer locations to meet with leadership and ensure proper in-store execution; attend trade shows as necessary.
Manage planning and replenishment business.
Customers & Relationships
Manage the cultivation, development, and maintenance of relationships with new and existing customers at DMM level and below.
Oversee communications and feedback between customers and internal partners in Sales, Design, Production, and retail coordinators.
Partner with planning and customers to oversee co-op, allowances, and givebacks.
Leadership & Teams
Contribute positively to team dynamic and manage up where necessary.
Train and coach junior team members in selling, negotiating and presentation skills.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of individuals and teams.
Attract, develop, and retain talent.
Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have
Superior organizational skills and excellent communication skills; team oriented and outgoing ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
Strong knowledge of the Missy Casual Market with a following in Tops and/or Dresses.
Highly detail oriented and meticulous.
Strong analytical skills and fluent in retail math.
Bachelor's Degree preferred.
8-10 years’ experience in Sales or Merchandising in the wholesale fashion industry.
Experience with Exenta/Simparel ERP a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Travel Required as needed.

Salary Range:  $150000 + benefits

Base salary is a part of a total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, annual bonus and other company sponsored benefit programs.
