Primary Function of Position:
The Director, Genesis Programs will define and implement strategies to enable customers to successfully integrate and optimize Intuitiveâ technologies within their hospital. This leader will play a key role in the Genesis team’s partnership with sales, marketing and other internal stakeholder groups to identify opportunities to deliver Genesis value to customers with an emphasis on patient safety, process optimization, cost-containment, and efficiency within hospital departments engaged with Intuitive products.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Developing and driving Genesis strategy in alignment with company mission, regional goals and business results
- Building successful technology programs at hospitals using established best practices
- Measuring Genesis program effectiveness and implementing enhancements as necessary
- Managing the Genesis team resources to ensure support is properly allocated to meet growing business demands on time and within budget
- Forecasting Genesis program allocation per region
- Hiring, developing and training members of the Genesis team as needed to support the ever-growing needs of the company
- Develop leadership personnel within team in order to enable future growth
- Supporting the sales team’s negotiations with key accounts
- Educating sales leadership in leveraging Genesis value propositions to drive strategic national initiatives
- Providing the sales force with updates on the Genesis approach, materials and program results
- Partnering with customer training teams to identify and develop KOLs to participate in various training programs
- Managing Genesis expenses within budget
- Developing competency within the Genesis and other teams as necessary in the following areas:
- da Vinci System Technology
- da Vinci System applications
- OR and Device Reprocessing Efficiency Practices and Principles
- Care and handling of Intuitive Instruments and Accessories
- Training Pathway process
- Training/coaching techniques/methodologies
- Managing complex, extended customer consulting engagements
- In collaboration with commercial and other ecosystem teams, defines Genesis agenda for their region: prioritizes mandates and plans delivery of Genesis resources
- Conduct Genesis program initiatives with strategically targeted customers
- Manage complex, extended customer engagements involving multi- departmental collaboration and multi-faceted solutions
- Lead departmental and cross-functional projects to develop or improve Genesis processes, deliverables, and other material
- Collaborate with internal / external stakeholders to define, measure, and optimize the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of Genesis programs
- Provide in person and/or remote consulting services to deliver value to the customer
- Promote collaboration with Genesis and cross functional teammates to establish and achieve Genesis implementation goals
- Onboard, coach, and mentor new and existing team members
- Participate in the training on and launch of new products and/or procedures
- Become a subject matter expert and trusted client advisor for Genesis
