Eastern US Regional Sales Representative

Reporting to the VP, Sales and Marketing, the successful candidate will report into our Atlanta offices and will be responsible for increasing the volume of Industrial Products in the Eastern US by pursuing client projects, cultivating relationships, and identifying new products and avenues for FELLFAB in the industrial marketplace by communicating the Company’s vision and capabilities, engaging customers and prospects.
The ideal candidate will be a team player, with strong communications skills, a proven track record of prospecting for new opportunities, while growing existing accounts, in multiple industries such as transportation, energy, oil & gas, mining, telecom, plastics, space exploration, furniture and more.
Responsibilities:
· Manage and grow existing accounts within the US Industrial Market segment by providing engineered solutions using textile related products
· Develop new business opportunities by prospecting and expanding into and targeting new Industrial accounts
· Identify opportunities for R&D, new product development and continuous improvement and design of existing products
· Utilize Strategic Selling and Bluesheet Processes (Miller Heiman)
· Provide full cycle technical expertise and project management as required to build long term relationships with customers
· Develop key account plans
· Attend and participate in all Sales Conferences, Trade Shows and relevant conference calls
· Create a competitive advantage by developing and implementing tailored sales strategies to penetrate new markets and accounts
· Promote FELLFAB within the Industrial market segment through business travel
External Customer Service
· Develop and maintain strong customer relationships by providing continuous customer service to Industrial customers
· Answer customer inquiries and provide information on pricing, inventory levels and production
· Inform customers of Delivery schedules/Lead times in a professional and timely manner
Internal Customer Service
· Review all documentation as provided by the customer and communicate relevant data to internal departments
· Liaise with Purchasing, Engineering, Quality and Production as required to ensure that customer requirements are met
Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Experience/Abilities Required:
· Minimum 7 years Industrial Sales
· University degree or College diploma in engineering or business and or equivalent work experience in an industrial sales environment
· High-level of motivation, organization, and self-direction
· Strong technical aptitude, with the ability to understand, drawings and blueprints
· Demonstrated ability to prospect for new accounts and grow existing accounts
· Great communication, intuition, and attention-to-detail skills
· History of helping technical customers define product requirements
· Proven ability to guide/support internal groups and stakeholders during product development
· Ability to prepare reports, maintain records, and manage customer/sales related information
· Knowledge of textiles or other specialty materials is a definite asset
· Ability to travel
