Job Title: Designer II

Reports to: Design Director

Location: Portland, OR

The Role

Responsible for aiding in the functional performance design for the brand - building innovative and unique product for people who adventure in the outdoors. You own your projects from start to finish - working with development and product teams throughout the process. You have a passion for performance driven outdoor footwear, upcoming trends, and materials. You will facilitate the creative direction of the brand through unique design markers and functional attributes.

Your Impact

The primary functions of this role, include but are not limited to:

1. Key focus on creating strong outdoor, functional, performance footwear. 2. Collaborate with triad group to better understand, design, and develop strong function-performance product. 3. Create design deliverables including tech packages, material maps, blue print revisions, and other key 2D files. 4. Implement creative direction ensuring product design always is tied to the brand and focused on solving a problem. Who You Are

Has 4+ years of performance footwear experience and is driven by solving problems through design. Cares about the outdoors and how product can make a person's live more fulfilling and adventurous. Is a team player that loves to create work together and not in a silo. Wants to continue learning new skills, new ways of working to continue to evolve as a designer. Able to take different points of view and create and talk through solutions. Strong communicator who can take design concepts and easily translate them to a varied audience.

The salary range posted reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this role in our Portland, OR location. Individual pay will be determined by location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
