Role Summary

As part of our dynamic engineering team, you will engage in the electrical engineering domain, particularly focusing on renewable energy sources such as hydroelectric, solar, and wind power. This role involves working on a variety of projects across multiple states, ensuring the effective planning, design, and operation of utility facilities.

Your responsibilities will encompass developing engineering studies, specifications, calculations, and design documents related to the company's generation and distribution systems. You will also be involved in maintaining and upgrading existing renewable generation facilities.

Key Responsibilities

The Engineer II position entails:

• Conducting system design analysis and modifications.

• Preparing data for cost estimations and analyses.

• Performing equipment tests and overseeing the installation of new systems.

• Conducting site inspections to ensure compliance with engineering standards.

• Designing and evaluating systems to align with company objectives.

• Guiding and mentoring junior engineers and technicians.

• Recommending engineering solutions to meet business needs.

For the Senior Engineer role, additional responsibilities include:

• Leading project teams and mentoring junior staff.

• Managing project timelines and budgets effectively.

For the Senior II Engineer position, responsibilities expand to:

• Developing complex engineering studies and assessments.

Qualifications

For the Engineer II role, candidates should possess:

• A Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an accredited institution.

• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in the engineering field.

• Basic knowledge of engineering principles and applicable regulations.

For the Senior Engineer role, candidates should have:

• At least five years of experience in industrial or utility power systems.

For the Senior II Engineer position, candidates should hold:

• An advanced technical degree or a PE license, or possess eight years of relevant experience.
