About the Role

We are seeking a talented Footwear Designer II to join our team in Portland, Oregon. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for elevating our Performance Run and Training footwear line. This is an exciting opportunity to work with Under Armour's latest technologies and innovations, and to make a meaningful impact on the design of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with design leadership to drive concepts for Performance Run and Training footwear.
  • Work collaboratively with Marketing, Development, and other teams to meet project objectives.
  • Lead the creation of seasonal footwear projects and milestone deliverables.
  • Develop and execute clear and detailed sketches, renderings, and technical drawings.
  • Present design project work within individual project teams and at category design checkpoints.
Requirements
  • A passion for design and product creation.
  • Motivation to create compelling, purposeful, performance footwear products.
  • Strong knowledge of form, color, materials, and human factors related to elevating the consumer experience.
  • Proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator skills.
  • Working knowledge of 3D software is a plus.
  • Ability to create accurate 2D technical drawings.
  • Strong sketching, illustration, and rendering skills.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials.
