Associate Director, Entrepreneurial Services Program and Services
The WBDC is hiring for an Associate Director, Entrepreneurial Services Program and Services. This full-time, exempt position reports to the Managing Director, Entrepreneurial Services Program and Services.
The Women's Business Development Center (WBDC) is a 501(c)(3) nationally recognized leader in the field of women's business development and economic empowerment for over 30 years. Our mission is to support and accelerate business development and growth by targeting women and serving all diverse business owners, to strengthen their participation in, and impact on, the economy. We value our knowledgeable, prepared, and diverse staff and foster a culture that is results-oriented, supportive, and progressive.
The Associate Director, Entrepreneurial Services Program and Services supports the delivery of programming that provides business development services and resources to nascent and emerging entrepreneurs, including those that are economically disadvantaged and underserved.
Assist in the planning, organization, and facilitation of WBDC's Entrepreneurial programming and services
Support client advising, including assessing and supporting client needs.
Assist in managing and coordinating resources, community partnerships, and various subject-matter experts for execution of programming and services.
Work with marketing team to manage promotion of, and outreach for, workshops, events, and training sessions.
Represent the WBDC at trade shows and events through networking, presentations, and public speaking.
Analytical skills and financial acumen
High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
2+ years of work experience
Bachelor's degree
Passionate about women's issues and economic empowerment

The Women's Business Development Center (WBDC) is a nationally recognized 501(c)(3) business growth center and economic development organization with 35 years of experience helping women and other diverse entrepreneurs establish and grow sustainable businesses that create jobs and fuel economic growth. The WBDC delivers programs and services throughout the greater Chicago area and certifies women owned businesses and offers procurement services in a nine state Midwest region.
