Knowledge of computer/network systems infrastructure requirements and standards.

Ability to learn and grow their troubleshooting skills in relation to the Active Directory and Exchange environments.

Process requests to create, modify and delete Active Directory accounts.

Process requests to create, modify and remove access to applications and resources in the State’s network via group memberships.

Process requests to create, modify and delete e-mail, resource, contacts and distribution groups in the Exchange management console.

Create and maintain documentation for assigned areas.

Assist other IT teams with troubleshooting access to various resources within the network.

Ensure standardization, compliance and enforcement of policies and daily operating procedures.

60 days supporting and maintaining SOMAD is preferred.

Deliverables:

Tickets- Review, diagnose and process tickets received that range in complexity.- Provisioning team estimates about 5,000 to 6,000 tickets/tasks monthly.

Tasks- Monitor communication channels for new task, sent by Client staff, that need to be worked on. Maintain a list of current tasks assigned and prioritize as needed to accomplish goals in timelines set.

Documentation- Verify documentation for process are correct or need updated. Document new processes as needed.

Automation- Assist team in automating processes as needed to help with ticket counts. Other automation

Critical Problems – technical challenges that present themselves without notice or warning. May or may not be directly related to normally UP issues. Contracted resources will be expected to assist in helping resolve issues with their knowledge and expertise.

Task and Tickets - creating new accounts, deleting accounts, creating/deleting groups, adding/removing members to/from groups, creating distribution lists, updating email when needed. Other tickets topics and subject do vary with the issues being addressed.

Documentation – Documentation need to be done for all new processes. This includes any updated or new PowerShell scripts.

Automation – Some repeated processes can be converted to PowerShell to help with time taken per ticket/task. We currently use PowerShell to assist in Automation. Ansible will also be used to help with Powershell versioning. Other automation duties may apply.
