Chinquapin Trust Company is a private trust entity that oversees a complex investment portfolio, financial reporting, tax compliance, and additional services for its clientele, which includes individuals, partnerships, corporations, trusts, and private foundations.
POSITION SUMMARY
The IT Support Analyst is responsible for providing daily technical assistance and support to the Chinquapin Trust Company team and its clients. This role requires a strong eagerness to learn various IT technologies, managing daily technical support tasks, and contributing to special IT projects. This position operates in a hybrid model, combining in-office work with remote responsibilities based on the IT requirements and projects at hand.
PRIMARY DUTIES
- Installation and configuration of software on workstations and servers.
- Preparation and setup of laptops, monitors, docking stations, and other essential equipment for new team members.
- Provision of technical support to team members and clients both on-site and remotely, utilizing various access methods.
- Development and maintenance of technical procedures and documentation.
- Collaboration with software and hardware vendors to resolve product-related issues.
- Assistance to team members and clients in understanding key application functionalities.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in providing technical support to end-users.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.).
- Experience with macOS and iOS, including skills in application installation, troubleshooting permissions issues, and applying software updates.
- Familiarity with programming/scripting languages such as C# .NET, Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
- Ability to work independently.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates will stand out if they have:
- Understanding of database management and SQL report development.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to think critically to troubleshoot technical challenges.
- Previous experience in a similar capacity.
- Experience within a financial services context.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Exceptional customer service abilities.
