Position Purpose:

Be a trusted advisor and strategic HR partner to the Kudelski Security (KS) and IoT business unit leadership teams to champion a culture of innovation and collaboration. Devise, support and execute people strategies that lead to successful business outcomes. Work in partnership across the organization, serving as a liaison between the business and regional & group HR to assess and drive HR strategies in the areas of recruitment & talent, employee engagement & training, total rewards, coaching & mentoring, change management and organization design. You will be a thought-leader in our exciting cybersecurity and IoT businesses, driving growth-oriented, innovative HR solutions to employees and leaders at all levels.

Summary of Job Responsibilities:

  • Act as valued business partner on all aspects of HR/People programs and the delivery of such programs. Be an effective problem-solver and extremely solution/results-driven.
  • Provide overall HR support for Kudelski Security and IoT (approx. 90%), Nagra-Kudelski Group in our US-HQ Phoenix office location, including various Corp functions (approx. 10%).
  • Partner with Kudelski Security and IoT leadership to build a strong and rewarding culture where employees are engaged, empowered by their work, and energized by their working environment.
  • Provide effective guidance and consultation on employee relations issues; lead and facilitate resolution of issues balancing business and staff needs.
  • Support immigration and visa efforts of transferring employees.
  • Build and develop meaningful analytics for resource planning and reporting.
  • Draw upon and provide input to Corp/Group HR specialist teams to ensure tools & policies are effectively meeting the needs of the division(s) and region
  • Administer Corp HRIS tool as it relates to client group requirements, including recruitment, performance development, and compensation.
  • Lead Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging for the US, leading monthly/bi-monthly meetings that evolve US practices and support employees.
  • Own and deliver special regional HR initiatives or projects as required.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of current employment law and HR best practices to interpret applicability to staff, locations, and company policies.
  • Serve as sponsor and provide oversight for the US apprenticeship program, curriculum evolution, trainer engagement, oversight of the student manager, and partnership with the business unit, state, school, and others to develop the next generation of cybersecurity professionals.
  • Maintain documentation of programs, policies, and practices.
  • Support and foster an HR/People “culture of excellence”.
  • Manage, coach, and develop a team of 2 to 3 HR professionals.



Recruitment and Onboarding

  • Support recruitment goals to evolve recruitment strategies that attract local and regional specialized talent; build the employer brand internally and externally.
  • Participate in interviews for candidate alignment to culture and business needs.
  • Evolve and execute on onboarding activities to engage new-hires and promote quick alignment and time to productivity.



Change Management

  • Identify organization development and design needs and drive the business to optimize team composition and performance.
  • Partner with AME Regional HR Team and Corp/Group HR functions to identify and share best practices. Collaborate on company-wide talent and change initiatives.
  • Deliver strategic HR services to leaders, including the BU CEO, to support their business objectives, enhance team performance, and increase effectiveness of the business.
  • Support the creation and execution of the communication strategy including a regular cadence of leadership meetings, town halls, emails, events, and communications through other channels.



Total Rewards

  • Partner with go-to-market leaders to develop compensation strategies that lead to positive business results. Team up with accounting and finance to ensure proper execution of a variety of variable incentive plans, including sales commission plans.
  • In partnership with global compensation & benefits leader, ensure internal and external equity, consistent evolution of employee compensation progression, and competitive total rewards.
  • Serve as a partner in US total rewards design, participating in benefits strategy, communications, administration, and resolution.



Talent Management

  • Coach leaders and build upon their leadership capabilities; drive positive change and develop strategies to create a high-performance/high-accountability culture.
  • Lead Talent Reviews to inform succession and development needs.
  • Champion employee engagement programs, in partnership with leaders, leveraging data from the engagement and other survey data.
  • Partner with leaders to create plans for employee development and promotion, supporting internal mobility and growth along ever-evolving career paths.
  • Identify and/or design training programs to meet staff and organizational needs identified through performance assessment and career planning activities.
  • Partner with heads of sales to support sales enablement activities.



Requirements:

  • At least 8- 10 years leadership/managerial position within an HR Director and/or Sr. Business Partner role, preferably in a high-tech or high-growth environment.
  • An influencer who inspires credibility. Gains support and inspires enthusiasm for the vision and strategy. Brings energy, motivation and change management skills to influence in a changing environment with many legacy values and systems.
  • An excellent communicator: explains complicated concepts simply and clearly. Deliver delicate or difficult messages effectively, appropriately, and with sensitivity. Highly effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Approachable, open and visible with a strong executive presence and customer service mindset. A relationship builder who continuously learns, is self-aware, and listens. Shows high emotional intelligence.
  • Must be able to partner and work in a highly matrixed, distributed, sometimes complex environment. Exhibits multi-cultural sensitivity.
  • Strong financial acumen to translate business strategy into people programs that drive results. Sound data and analytical ability with excellent computer skills.
  • Aptitude to multi-task, exhibit flexibility, manage time, plan effectively, be quality and detail oriented, and work with little supervision is a must.
  • English is required; other languages (French) is an asset.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or HR management or equivalent; Master’s degree and HR certifications a plus.
  • 10-15% domestic travel; one global trip annually can be expected.
