Subject to Grant Funding?: No Essential Job Functions: 1. Develop and manage syllabus materials.
2. Facilitate activities in the classroom, simulation laboratory, clinic, and/or other setting(s).
3. Act as a liaison between the students and the faculty course director.
4. Provide and facilitate examinations. May include assigning grades consistent with course requirements.
5. Teaches or facilitates classes based on varied schedules to accommodate diverse student needs and to meet the expectations of the College as assigned by the designated faculty course director.
6. Prepares assignments and follows the course curriculum as assigned.
7. Evaluates student performance and learning.
8. Maintains an active classroom environment conducive to student learning and success.
9. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Marginal Job Functions: Complete NSU mandatory trainings ( HIPAA compliance, Title IX training, technology training, Canvas training)
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Knowledge:
1. Education/Training - Knowledge of principles/methods for curriculum/training design/teaching for individuals/groups, and the measurement of training effects.
2. English Language - Thorough knowledge of the structure/content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
3. Customer Service - General knowledge of principles/processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of user satisfaction.

1. Instructing — Teaching others how to do something.
2. Critical Thinking — Using logic/reasoning to identify the strengths/weaknesses of alternative solutions/approaches to problems.
3. Judgment/Decision Making — Considering the relative costs/benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.

3. Inductive Reasoning — The ability to combine pieces of information to form general rules or conclusions (includes finding a relationship among seemingly unrelated events).
4. Speech Clarity — The ability to speak clearly so others can understand you.
5. Fluency of Ideas — The ability to come up with a number of ideas about a topic (the number of ideas is important, not their quality, correctness, or creativity).

Physical Requirements:
1. Speech Recognition - Must be able to identify and understand the speech of another person.
2. Speech Clarity - Must be able to speak clearly so others can understand you.
3. Near Vision - Must be able to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
4. Manual Dexterity
5. May be exposed to short, intermittent, and/or prolonged periods of sitting and/or standing in performance of job duties.
6. May be required to accomplish job duties using various types of equipment/supplies, including but not limited to pens, pencils, mobile devices, and computer keyboards.
7. Travel - May be required to travel on a daily and/or overnight basis.
8. May be required to work nights or weekends.
9. Must be able to lift, pull and push objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
