Position Summary:
We are seeking a Sales Engineer who has experience in  Packaging Automation Systems to support our sales team in designing, sourcing, quoting, and selling advanced packaging machinery solutions. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with strong client relationship skills and experience in moving packaging machinery opportunities through the sales process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with sales reps to identify and close equipment integration opportunities by visiting clients and assessing their needs.
  • Recommend optimal equipment solutions tailored to client requirements and budgets.
  • Support sales reps with equipment, automation, and integration training.
  • Assist in negotiating pricing, terms, and sales agreements with vendors and clients.
  • Present proposals, quotes, and contracts to clients as needed.
  • Work with Engineering to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Contribute to meeting team sales targets and expanding the client base.
  • Create CAD drawings for equipment integration projects to align with client specifications.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (preferred) or relevant industry experience.
  • Proficiency in CAD, CRM software, and MS Office Suite.
  • Proven success in B2B equipment sales, preferably within the packaging industry.
  • Strong knowledge of packaging processes and equipment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
