Senior Director of Fraud

What does a successful Senior Director of Fraud do at Fiserv?

By taking ownership of the design and development of data engineering projects within Fiserv’s Enterprise Data Commerce Solutions division, you will apply large-scale data engineering, integration, and warehousing projects, and build custom integrations between cloud-based systems using APIs, and write complex and efficient queries to transform raw data sources into easily accessible models.

What you will do:

Lead and manage the development team and provide guidance, coaching, and feedback to team members Establish and maintain development processes that ensure high-quality software delivery Manage software development projects, and ensure that they are completed on time and within budget Develop and manage project plans, monitor and report on project status, and ensure that development projects adhere to best practices, industry standards, and regulatory requirements Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity Build Fraud Orchestration layer integrations with various API services Partner with UX designers and lead UI and full stack developers to build widget libraries to integrate across various fraud services and migrate Fiserv Fraud products onto this platform

What you will need to have:

9+ years of experience in API development and integration 8+ years of experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js 8+ years of experience with web development frameworks like Django, Flask, or Spring Boot 5+ years of experience with microservices architecture and its principles 5+ years of experience with middleware technologies like Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Redis 5+ years of experience with cloud platforms and services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Experience with API security concepts and implementations, such as OAuth, JWT, or API keys and managing APIs in a cloud environment Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience

What would be great to have:

Exposure to Big Data tools and solutions Exposure to relational modeling and dimensional modeling of unstructured data Experience in design and architecture review in the banking and financial domains
