Overview:

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our sales team as the Business Development Executive. The Business Development Executive is a key role and is responsible for outbound prospecting and sales. This role focuses on creating and building client relationships by providing security solutions and technical expertise. This is an outstanding opportunity for an aspiring sales professional.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Focus on increasing Hardware/Product and Services revenue
  • Track and report on the status of all proposal components
  • Engage technical expertise as needed during pre-sales
  • Prepare quotes and proposals for clients
  • Collaborate with other business units within the company to achieve annual and quarterly goals
  • Attend customer opportunity/strategy meetings to understand and articulate business and technical strategy for the company and customer
  • Work with peers to advise and recommend on future technology and services
  • Ensure that proposed solutions are valid and meet customer specifications
  • Work closely with Vendors/Partners to keep up-to-date with current and future technologies
  • Maintain high level of industry awareness through training and self-development
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by following new sales through the entire process
  • Partner with business leaders to deliver services that support company objectives and that are consistent with Core Values
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of experience in designing, developing, and selling security solutions utilizing multiple vendors
  • Security Manufacturer Certifications, a plus
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States

  • Ability to design in-depth technical solutions, a plus
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present at large internal and external audiences and at board level
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to engage and effectively interact with people from many different disciplines
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain client engagements/relationships
