Job Description

Job Summary:
Serra Kia Trussville is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Coordinator to join our team in Birmingham, Alabama. This individual will be responsible for driving sales by developing new business opportunities and maintaining existing client relationships. As a Business Development Coordinator, you will play a key role in the growth and success of our dealership. This is a full-time, individual contributor role with a base salary plus commission in the auto industry.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the local market
  • Build and maintain relationships with potential and existing clients
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement strategies to achieve sales goals
  • Conduct market research to stay informed on industry trends and competition
  • Generate leads through prospecting, networking, and cold calling
  • Coordinate and participate in promotional and networking events
  • Follow up with potential clients to set up appointments and answer any questions
  • Track and report on sales activity and results

Requirements:
  • Previous experience in sales or business development, preferably in the auto industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong negotiation and persuasive abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
