Job Description

The Reentry and Rehabilitation Division is looking for an Office Specialist II to serve as support staff in Salt Lake County. The administrative office for the Reentry and Rehabilitation Division provides administrative support functions, which include administrators and clerical staff that support the day-to-day operations of the division.
Job Description
As Office Specialist II, you will provide support to management and staff. You will ensure an adequate supply of materials and/or supplies are ordered, received, and inspected delivered merchandise. Data entry is essential. The employee will perform a variety of complex, independent decision-making skills with minimum direct supervision.

Principle Duties
You will also perform a variety of duties, purchasing, and support services such as:  Maintains detailed, accurate documents and spreadsheets. Provides authorized agencies with information. Originates correspondence. Data entry and tracking to include UDOCA, FINET, O Track, Google Sheets/Excel Spreadsheets Creates purchase orders for the purchase of office supplies Maintains inventories Schedules and coordinates meetings Scans and uploads documents Meeting minutes Monthly reports Maintains calendars Provides authorized agencies with information  The Ideal Candidate The best-qualified individual for the Office Specialist II position is someone who: Has at least two years of experience working in a professional office environment. Has data entry experience. Is detail oriented. Works independently with little or no supervision. Has Google experience with documents and spreadsheets. Has knowledge with O-Track/Webtrack. Not required, trainable. Has knowledge of GRAMA and GRAMA records classification
Preference Preference may be given to those who: Has working experience in a law enforcement agency.

Supplemental Information

The hourly rate for this position is $ 19.41 (non-negotiable). Current UDC employees' hourly rates will be based on the promotional policy. Hiring officials may identify additional related skills and requirements as preferences in making hiring and promotional decision.
