Transportation Coordinator

This position is more physical and will require warehouse dock area managing, assisting customer with will call orders, loading trucks and dispatching routes. This may involve answering questions, researching information such as billing of orders, able to facilitate resolution of transport issues and have a firm understanding of logistics compliance. Coordinating orders to operations so that they are processed in a timely manner. The nature of this job requires an individual that is intelligent, dependable and detail oriented. This individual will work closing with billing, operations and sales. This individual must be motivated to meet the goals of the department and be willing to “go the extra mile” in serving the customer.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Must have 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Must have communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively, both written and verbally, with internal and external customers.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have the ability to multi-task.
- Must have excellent time management skills.
- Knowledge of the transportation industry is a plus.
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is required
- Experience with Produce is a plus
