Temporary Traffic Control - Traffic Control Supervisor (TCS)

Southwest Safety is changing the industry and is looking for Temporary Traffic Control Supervisors and Technicians to be some of the first in the state to lead the charge. Earn up to $20-$24hr, depending on experience, using the latest technology that will keep your work zones safer.

Responsibilities:


Setup temporary workplaces for construction/maintenance and utility.


Safely guide the passage of the general public through and around the temporary workplace as well as the safety of all workers on-site.


Ensure safety and efficiency issues are addressed and remedied immediately in the temporary workplace.


Maintain open and professional communication with co-workers.


Report unsafe work situations to management.


MINIMUM of 40 hours per week.


Overtime as required.


Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education and Experience:


A driver license with a clean driving abstract is required


Must hold a Traffic Control Supervisor or Technician Certification


Protect and promote the interest of Southwest Safety and take actions to satisfy such responsibilities.


Ability to lift/move a minimum of 50 lbs.


Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
