Position Summary & Description
Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) invite applicants for a Grant Funded Program Coordinator 3 position.
This full-time grant-funded position, of up to 18 months, serves as the Continuum Coordinator & Project Director for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s juvenile justice-focused planning and assessment initiative housed at the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD). The incumbent of this position will work closely with IUP and PCCD staff as well as their stakeholders and partners to design, launch, and implement a comprehensive statewide assessment and planning process that will result in a new “blueprint” for building a continuum of care and opportunity for justice-involved and at-risk youth in Pennsylvania, especially in areas with limited resources and/or high levels of need. The incumbent will assist in fulfilling the key deliverable of the initiative: the creation of a comprehensive statewide plan built on detailed cross-system data analysis that offers funding, policy, and programmatic recommendations to various Commonwealth agencies to guide Pennsylvania’s youth-focused services.

Position Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
Graduate Degree in the behavioral or social sciences, or a related discipline appropriate to the position. Experience leading or providing strategic planning, facilitation support, and project management services within, or on behalf of, Pennsylvania state agencies. Significant knowledge of, and analytical expertise within, Pennsylvania’s juvenile justice and/or youth-serving sectors. Demonstrated expertise in conducting quantitative analysis, and utilizing results/findings in the development of public policy reports. Significant experience in project management for large-scale organizations and/or initiatives. Knowledge of federal, state, and local systems inherent to providing key decisionmakers with relevant analysis and recommendations Strong interpersonal communication skills and demonstrated ability to present findings in a variety of written, oral, and electronic formats.
Essential Functions
The work of this position occurs in a typical office environment. Although infrequent, periods of heavy exertion may occur. Incumbent must have the following abilities:
Ability to travel to field locations and meeting/training sites by motor vehicle when required. Communicate both orally and in writing to issue, receive and carry out instructions and orders effectively and to convey information to a variety of co-workers and the public. Use common office machines such as telephones, calculators, copiers, computer terminals, keyboards, video display terminals, auxiliary printers, and similar equipment. Perform manual duties such as lifting and carrying various weight limits. Operate office equipment which may require stooping, kneeling, bending, stretching and prolonged sitting or standing. Provide assistance and guidance to internal and external customers.-
