Boston Harbor Shipyard and Marina, an Ocean Havens Property, located in East Boston is seeking to fill the position of Office Administrator.
The Office Administrator is responsible for directing and assisting front office operations in the marina’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest services and financial profitability.
The ideal candidate will thrive in a demanding/fast-paced environment.
Customer service experience and great communication skills are a must.  Tasks must be handled professionally and efficiently.
Exceptional interpersonal skills are required as you will be developing relationships with existing and future clients both for the marina and shipyard.

Duties include (but are not limited to):

  • Overseeing the full execution of the marina office
  • Processing new and existing reservations through phone, email and 3rd parties
  • Maintaining all inventory of supplies and merchandise
  • Reconciling financials each day
  • Keeping AR on schedule for payment

 

Qualifications:

  • Detail oriented, organized, efficient
  • Able to operate successfully in a cross-functional and busy environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite, especially Word and Excel
  • Efficient problem-solving skills  
  • Strong organizational skills
