SUMMARY

 Oversees the visual merchandising directive process by managing Co-op dollars, vendor initiatives, and training stores on visual standards and programs. Assists with visual merchandising initiatives including new stores, remodels, and product launches. Coordinates visual display of merchandise, merchandising seasonal direction, enhance brand image, drive sales, optimize space utilization, and enrich the overall shopping experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Direct and oversee the design process of visual merchandising directives to ensure quality assurance, and measure effectiveness. Meet with buyers on the monthly visual directive to share ideas, solve problems collectively, and work towards common goals. Manage the in-store marketing process from start to finish, vendor initiatives, and direct the implementation of POP signage for all locations. Writes and completes the monthly and seasonal visual directive in stores to maintain consistency, align with marketing strategies, and maximize sales opportunities. Lead in all Hibbett floor set to buildtrust and credibility, improve team performance, drive sales results, enhance customer experience, strengthen team morale, promote continuous learning, and demonstrate flexibility and adaptability . Complete and turn in vendor Co-op pictures and invoicing to ensure compliance with cooperative advertising agreements. Set-up and install all vendor initiatives in-store and take pictures to maximize sales performance, enhance customer experience, and maintain operational efficiency. Attend all vendor final lines to maintain product quality, ensure compliance, manage costs, and foster strong vendor relationships. Participate in operational store videos with visual segment to conduct visual training Coordinate vendor POP and communicate the information to stores in order to maximize the effectiveness of marketing efforts, optimize sales, and ensure a consistent customer experience. Analyze business from a presentation standpoint to promote profitability. Assist in the development of visual innovation and customer experience objectives to remain competitive, foster customer loyalty, and drive sales. Shop competition to get an understanding of trends and the market. Protect the company’s assets and financial information by ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of internal control procedures and informing management and/or appropriate officials of potential fraud risk. Collaborate with the digital merchandising team on strategy and learning for environment. Process development and deployment to store operations and leaders to optimize store operations, empower store leaders, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. Travel to store locations 20% of time

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in merchandising or a related field or equivalent experience. 5 - 7 years of experience in retail experience. Demonstrated leadership and management skills. Experience working for a retail company, specifically in footwear and athletic apparel. Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook Experience in Adobe Creative Cloud prefered

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES

LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to demonstrate knowledge of generally accepted marketing and merchandising principles. REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Action Oriented to ensure that individuals and teams concentrate on achieving their goals, executing plans effectively and efficiently. Gaining Commitment to accommodate tasks, situations, and individuals involved. Business Acumen to display knowledge of how strategies and tactics work in the organization.
