Business Development Manager

Job Description:
- The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Working from a defined account list, follows WSG's defined Lead Process.
- Leverages tech stack to drive new account opportunities. Includes extensive outbound calling supported by email, social media and other media types.
- Prepares and researches for calls and meetings as outlined in WSG's lead and sales process.
- Maintains accurate and timely data within WSG's CRM solution.
- Delivers WSG's value proposition across a variety of personas and key vertical markets.
- Utilizes appropriate internal and external resources to win new business.
- Learns and understands macro and micro industry trends.
- Contributes great energy and enthusiasm to WSG team members.
- Participates in various tradeshows and networking events.
- Maintains a clean and orderly work environment.
- Performs miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
- Travel as necessary.
- Undergraduate Degree.
- Eight+ years of experience in building new B2B accounts at the C-Suite level.
- Top 10% performer in previous roles.
- Paid most of his/her college education or played a college sport.
- Undeterred with exceptional work ethic and fanatical preparation. Makes no excuses.
- Tremendous phone presence and presentation skills (technology demonstrations included).
- Asks the best questions and is a great listener.
- Motivated to make as much money as possible.
