Job Description:
As the Executive Working Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our culinary department, ensuring the highest quality of food production and service. You will lead a team of culinary professionals in delivering memorable dining experiences to our guests. This role requires a hands-on approach, with the Executive Working Chef actively involved in menu development, food preparation, and kitchen management.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the culinary team to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
Develop innovative and seasonal menus that showcase locally-sourced ingredients and complement our wine offerings
Ensure efficient kitchen operations, including inventory management, cost control, and adherence to safety and sanitation standards
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, providing guidance and support to culinary staff
Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special events, wine pairings, and guest experiences
Stay updated on culinary trends and techniques, continuously seeking ways to enhance our offerings

Requirements
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar leadership role in a high-volume, upscale establishment
Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
Excellent culinary skills and creativity, with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences
Knowledge of wine pairings and appreciation for wine culture is a plus
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure gracefully
Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
