CF Sharp is seeking a talented and experienced Chef Tournant to join our team. As a Chef Tournant, you will play a vital role in managing and coordinating our culinary operations. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, maintaining the highest level of food quality, and delivering an exceptional dining experience to our guests.

As the Chef Tournant, you will oversee and assist in all aspects of food preparation, cooking, and plating. You will work closely with the culinary team to ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards. In addition, you will be responsible for training and mentoring junior chefs and ensuring that all food safety and sanitation standards are met.

The ideal candidate for this position is a highly skilled and creative culinary professional with a passion for delivering outstanding food quality. You should have a strong knowledge of various cooking techniques and a demonstrated ability to manage a busy kitchen. Excellent leadership skills and the ability to work well under pressure are also essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of food preparation, cooking, and plating

Ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality

Train and mentor junior chefs in various cooking techniques

Manage and coordinate the work of the culinary team

Develop and implement new menu items and specials

Monitor food costs and ensure that budgetary targets are met

Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment

Requirements

Proven experience as a Chef Tournant or similar role in a high-volume kitchen

Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques and culinary traditions

Excellent leadership and communication skills

Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment

Strong organizational and time management skills

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Degree in Culinary Arts or relevant certification from a culinary school is preferred
