Join us on our mission to reimagine business payments by partnering with the latest and greatest Fintechs

As a Vice President in the Corporate Development & Partnerships-Payments team at J.P. Morgan Payments, you will be leading the charge in transforming the payments industry. Your role will involve identifying and capitalizing on unique opportunities to set J.P. Morgan Payments apart and boost our client growth. You will be working closely with the Fintech & Venture Capital community to forge new partnerships, and leading diverse teams in the creation and launch of innovative product partnerships.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new opportunities (products, services, capabilities) to differentiate J.P. Morgan Payments and accelerate the growth of our clients
  • Define and champion business cases, value propositions and product requirements for new concepts with a razor-sharp focus on solving client needs
  • Collaborate with the Fintech & Venture Capital community to identify and develop new partnerships
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams (including Product, Sales, Technology, Investments) to design and commercialize new product partnerships, including strategic investments

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
  • 5 + years of professional experience with focus on designing, launching and commercializing new payment solutions with partners.
  • Successful track record of designing, launching and commercializing new payment solutions with partners.
  • Deep knowledge of the payment and commerce needs of middle market and enterprise clients
  • Exposure to international markets from a payments standpoint
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies as well as exposure to design-based thinking
  • Ability to deconstruct client challenges into core needs which can be addressed in new ways and potentially with new technologies
  • Passion for creatively solving problems and an entrepreneurial spirit. Ability to adeptly pivot opportunities based on new information
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and assess new opportunities based on customer and market need, organizational alignment, economics, technological capabilities and competitive environment; Intellectual curiosity and the ability to rapidly synthesize data
  • Strong communication/presentation skills that can be consumed at all seniority levels with both internal and external audiences; Strong negotiation skills that optimize value with internal and external partners

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
  • Experience in healthcare, mobility or embedded payments is a plus
  • Experience on an Innovation team within a large organization or work at a start-up a plus
