Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Family Engagement Specialist to join our team at Franklin K. Lane Campus with Collegiate Preparatory High School. The successful candidate will work closely with the school team to ensure that all students and families optimize available programs and initiatives.

The Family Engagement Specialist will be responsible for developing, promoting, and overseeing programs and initiatives designed to support scholars' civic, social, emotional, and academic development. This includes coordinating the DBT (Dialectical behavior therapy) using the DBT curriculum, collaborating with CHCP CBO partners to streamline attendance improvement programming, and planning and implementing school events that support CHCP core values.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, bi-lingual Spanish skills, and experience working in an educational or social service setting. They will also possess strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills, excellent organizational skills, and experience with social media.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, promote, and oversee programs and initiatives designed to support scholars' civic, social, emotional, and academic development
  • Coordinate the DBT (Dialectical behavior therapy) using the DBT curriculum

Requirements
