Job Overview:

The LaSalle Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant (Corporate) to join its accounting team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for overseeing revenue, accounts receivables, payroll, and conducting analytical reviews. You will also be responsible for interpreting data from the company's billing systems to ensure accurate reporting of actual and estimated revenue.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Serve as an independent contributor within the core accounting team, ensuring a consistent, timely, and accurate close process
  • Independently analyze and address complex and judgmental accounting matters
  • Collaborate with senior accounting professionals to implement and maintain internal financial controls, aiming to establish a SOX-compliant accounting department
  • Develop and execute internal controls, including account reconciliations, and communicate with external auditors as needed
  • Proactively communicate risks, opportunities, and updates to the accounting leadership team
  • Participate in company-wide projects and initiatives related to process improvement, evaluating their impact on the accounting function and contributing to team involvement

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required; 5+ years of hands-on accounting experience, with a background in either corporate accounting, public accounting, or a combination of both
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000 per year
